The IHG Procurement Program UK & Ireland (UK&I) is designed to help support hotel owners in pursuing sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. The program aims to offer access to a broad network of suppliers, quality products, and pre-negotiated commercial terms, tailored to meet the varied needs of IHG’s UK&I franchise community.

 

What the Program Offers

The UK&I Procurement Program provides participating hotels with access to over 100 suppliers across categories including food & beverage, non-food items, and FF&E (Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment). This suite of services aims to ensure that hotels can provide essential products and facilities with confidence and consistency.

Participants have reported average savings of up to 15%* on food and beverage products, reflecting the program’s ability to deliver tangible cost efficiencies. Importantly, there are no participation fees for franchise hotels, allowing owners to benefit from the program without incurring additional costs.

The program is facilitated by a team of procurement professionals who collaborate with hotel owners to help identify potential opportunities for operational cost efficiencies and to support the development of supplier relationships. It is accessible via all ordering platforms, including recognized procure-to-pay (P2P) systems within the hospitality sector. Participating hotels may benefit from preferential pricing and streamlined access to program supplier pricing files, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

 

Strategic Growth and Owner Engagement

Since February 2023, the UK&I Procurement Program has grown rapidly, now reaching over 140 hotels. This growth has been driven by a strategic focus on mid-sized owner groups and franchisees, supported by targeted marketing and account management efforts.
